PMC Film; a division of
PMC-Group Inc., a manufacturer of rigid PVC film has announced
an $.08 per pound price increase effective November 19, 2007.
As most are aware, the cost of oil continues to rise and is
now over $92 a barrel. The dramatic increase cost of oil affects
everything from petrochemical feedstock's, basic energy costs,
and transportation costs. We at PMC Film have continued to absorb
increased prices from all these areas as the cost for oil continues
to escalate. Prices for PVC resin, stabilizers and other additives,
freight, and production costs have all been increased.
For the above reasons we find we can no longer absorb these
increases and will raise price on all rigid PVC film by $0.08
per pound effective November 19, 2007.
We will continue do everything possible to increase productivity
and control our costs in the future as we have done in the past.
We at PMC Film appreciate your business and look forward to
continuing our mutually beneficial relationship.
